What’s changed since the last update?
BS EN 15860:2018 supersedes BS EN 15860:2010 which has been withdrawn. BS EN 15860:2018 includes some technical changes with respect to BS EN 15860:2010. These include:
- ECTFE was deleted in Table 1 since there was no need anymore
- POM-H was changed into POM
- Straightness requirements for rods”, the material PE-UHMW was changed from column 3 to column 2
- The notes in Table 3 are updated
- Determination of microporosity – Dye penetration method” has been rewritten
- Some guideline values for material properties of thermoplastic semi-finished products (ANNEX D) have been rearranged
