What is ISO 7010 about?  

ISO 7010 prescribes safety signs for the purposes of accident prevention, fire protection, health hazard information and emergency evacuation, the shape and colour of each safety sign are according to ISO 3864-1 and the design of the graphical symbols is according to ISO 3864-3. 

ISO 7010 is applicable to all locations where safety issues related to people need to be addressed. 

Note: ISO 7010 is not applicable to the signalling used for guiding rail, road, river, maritime and air traffic and, in general, to those sectors subject to a regulation which may differ with regard to certain points of this document and of the ISO 3864 series.

What’s changed since the last update?  

BS EN ISO 7010:2020+A1:2020 supersedes BS EN ISO 7010:2020, which is withdrawn. 

BS EN ISO 7010:2020+A1:2020 has incorporated a few minor text adjustments in safety signs from ISO 7010:2011/Amd 1:2012 to ISO 7010:2011/Amd 9:2018 and to ISO 20712-1:2008 over the previous edition ISO 7010:2011.
